Description of 3D printer "Stratex 500"

Stratex 350 is an industrial 3D printer from the Russian manufacturer 3DiY. The company annually releases updated models of already popular printers.

The Stratex 350 model is focused on business in the manufacturing sector, specifically on small-scale additive manufacturing.

Stratex 500 is a closed professional 3D printer in a steel case with a versatile extruder and a huge build area - 500x500x700 mm. An excellent solution for printing very large and complex models with materials that shrink. Stratex 500 is suitable for small-scale production, as well as for printing engineering plastics with temperature regimes up to 450 °C.

The updated model of 2023 is available in the color RAL 7016.

The reliable and lightweight design of the extruder axis beam with milled aluminum parts increases the printing speed to 160 mm/s.

Thanks to the huge build area, very large parts can be printed on the Stratex 500 without the need for assembly. The build volume reaches 175 liters. For continuous operation when printing such large products, the printer can accommodate up to nine plastic spools, including two holders for spools weighing up to 2.5 kg.

Stratex 500 features a convenient 5-inch touch screen display with a user-friendly Russian menu. The manufacturer has developed an intuitive interface. Further work is being done on optimizing the dark display theme, aesthetics, and display features.

The Stratex 500 printer is equipped with a filament end sensor, which pauses printing when it runs out. Two-sided blowing of the build area ensures quality printing by quickly solidifying the plastic.

The built-in automatic calibration sensor allows for quick adjustment of the gap between the nozzle and the 3D printer bed.

There is the possibility of standalone printing without connecting to a computer, for which a USB socket is installed on the housing. A flash drive comes with the printer.

There is the option of remote control of the 3D printer using the 3DiY Cloud cloud service: multiple printers (a farm) can be connected, printing can be controlled from a distance, and the process can be monitored through the installed camera.

A fairly large supply kit comes with the printer, including consumables and tools for servicing the printer.
