Description of the 3D printer "S-Print"
ExOne S-Print is an industrial system for additive manufacturing of sand casting molds using the 3D printing method (3DP). The technology is based on the selective application of binding material to layers of sand mixture according to a specified contour. The printer is characterized by high productivity: the time to build one layer does not exceed 40 seconds. The device allows for the creation of foundry molds up to 800x500x400mm in size. The thickness of the applied layer is 280µm. The installation is equipped with an Ethernet interface for connection to a local network.About the "S-Print" printer The principle of operation of high-speed 3D printing installations consists of selectively applying micro-droplets of binding material to the surface of a thin layer of specially prepared sand mixture according to the layer configuration. The most complex cores are produced on the installation, while less complex form components are made in parallel using traditional methods, significantly reducing production time.
