Description of the 3D printer "PICASO Designer X PRO Series 2"
PICASO Designer X PRO Series 2 is a flagship 3D printer equipped with a dual extruder with fast switching using JetSwitch technology. The build area size is 201x201x210 mm, and the productivity reaches 130 cm^3/h. 3D printing is performed by extruders with a maximum hotend temperature of 430°C on a heated platform up to 150°C in a thermostatic chamber with a maximum background temperature of 80°C. Additional modes of dual-material printing have been added, allowing to reduce equipment downtime and achieve consistently high quality 3D printing: hot swap (automatic continuation of printing with the second nozzle in case of the first one's failure), nozzle inversion (selection of the active nozzle before starting printing), automatic nozzle alignment (automatic calculation of corrections between the first and second nozzle in the XY plane and along the Z axis), fast switching (printing mode in which the nozzle cleaning procedure is not performed when switching between materials). Network control is provided.
