Original Prusa SL1 Speed
The updated version of the Original Prusa SL1 is the first photopolymer 3D printer in the Prusa Research lineup. The new model is equipped with a monochrome LCD mask and has increased performance and a slightly larger build volume. The tilt of the vat and the platform lift now occur approximately three times faster, and the power of the LEDs has been increased fourfold. The switch to a monochrome matrix has not only increased performance, but also sharpness, as well as the lifespan of the mask, which is about two thousand hours. Expensive aluminum vats have been replaced with cheaper composite ones made of polyamide-6 with a graphite filler.
