The Objet500 Connex combines high speed prototyping with very thin layers, allowing for fast and precise creation of large or even multiple components made from various materials. The printer offers all the capabilities of innovative three-dimensional printing technology from various Connex materials in a print chamber sized at 500x400x200 mm, spacious enough to accommodate large models or a large number of components.

Thanks to the patented PolyJet multi-material printing technology, the Objet500 Connex printer can create models from 14 different materials within a single job, providing high realism in visualizing the final product. This system is ideal for designers and engineers who aim to effectively demonstrate various materials in complex or assembled products.

Materials

With a wide range encompassing over 100 materials, including over 90 digital materials created during model printing, the Objet500 Connex printer allows for the imitation of various mechanical and physical properties (from rubbery to rigid; from opaque to transparent; from standard level to ABS).

The main materials include:

• Clear material (VeroClear) to check for fit and measure profiles of transparent detailed components and simulate transparent thermoplastic materials, such as PMMA
• A line of elastomeric materials (Tango series) suitable for a range of products requiring a non-slip or soft surface
• Opaque rigid materials (Vero series) in various color variations, including white, gray, blue, and black
• High-temperature resistant polypropylene-like material for creating products with closures similar to polypropylene

Composite digital materials of Objet include:

• Digital ABS for simulating ABS technical plastic
• High-temperature resistant material for checking extended functional capabilities, use in hot air and water streams, static use, and creating models for exhibitions
