Description of the 3D printer "Helix"
Acuity Design Helix is a professional 3D printer for printing a wide range of plastics: PLA, ABS, PETT, PVA, polycarbonates, and nylon. The main criterion for the design of the device was high printing accuracy - the positioning accuracy of the head in the horizontal plane reaches 4 microns, and the minimum thickness of the applied layer is 100 microns. The construction is made of aluminum and steel with a focus on the high wear resistance of the components. The presence of a control module with an LCD screen and an SD memory card reader allows the printer to work in standalone mode.
