Desktop Metal Production is a metal 3D printing production system for mass production. The device operates on the Single Pass Jetting (SPJ) technology, which provides a build speed of up to 8200 cm3/h. Two printing rods across the entire width of the print zone, with more than 32,000 nozzles, work in coordination with powder spreaders and perform printing in one fast pass over the print area, releasing millions of particles per second. Unlike laser technologies, where parts are welded to the print platform, parts created by the Production system are surrounded by loose powder, allowing the maximum use of the working chamber size and increasing productivity per print.
