Description of the 3D printer "Bambu Lab X1 Carbon"
Bambu Lab X1 Carbon is a variant of the X1 FDM 3D printer, optimized for 3D printing with angle- and glass-filled composite materials by replacing the feeding gears and nozzle made of stainless steel with more wear-resistant counterparts made of hardened steel. Additionally, the casing of the 3D printer has been replaced with aluminum and a more powerful air flow has been installed. Like the base model, the X1 Carbon system is equipped with a lidar for automatic calibration and vibration damping system, together with a rigid frame and CoreXY kinematics allowing the head to develop accelerations of up to 20 m/s^2 and positioning speed of up to 500 mm/s. The build area reaches 256x256x256 mm. Optionally, a modular automatic filament changing system is offered: each model can accommodate four spools, and up to four modules and sixteen filaments can be connected accordingly.
