Description of the 3D printer "Bambu Lab P1S"
Bambu Lab P1S is an upgrade of the P1P 3D printer towards expanding compatibility with various consumable materials. The main difference is the presence of a closed chamber, which helps to work with polymers that are highly prone to thermal shrinkage. Additionally, it features a more powerful layer cooling and an additional fan for electronic cooling. The rigid steel frame, CoreXY kinematics with linear guides, and active vibration damping algorithms provide positioning speeds of up to 500 mm/s and accelerations of up to twenty meters per second. Calibration is performed automatically using a load cell sensor that builds a surface mesh. Optionally, an automatic filament change system (AMS) is available, accommodating four spools. If desired, the number of AMS modules can be increased to four, allowing up to sixteen filaments to be connected.
