Bambu Lab P1P is a simplified, more budget-friendly version of X1 3D printers, while retaining the main functionality. This includes a rigid welded steel frame, CoreXY kinematics with rail guides and active vibration damping algorithms, providing positioning speeds of up to 500 mm/s with accelerations of up to twenty meters per second. The 3D printer is equipped with a heated bed, but has an open chamber, although the panels can be self-manufactured or upgraded to the P1S version. The extruder is equipped with a direct-feed filament mechanism with dual drive and a hotend with a ceramic heater. Optionally, an automatic filament change system (AMS) is offered, accommodating up to four spools, with the possibility of expansion to four modules and sixteen filaments.
