Description of the 3D printer "Anycubic Photon D2"
Anycubic Photon D2 is an upgraded version of the Photon Ultra 3D printer with an increased projector resolution and enlarged build volume. The system relies on digital light processing stereo lithography technology and uses a projector with a resolution of 2560x1440, as opposed to 1280x720 in the Photon Ultra. As a result, the build area size has been increased from 102x57.6x165 mm to 131x73x165 mm. The use of a digital projector instead of a liquid crystal mask increases the service life and reduces energy consumption: thanks to high efficiency, the building speed reaches 50 mm/h in the Z axis, despite the relatively low illumination power - only 15 W, which is about four times lower than that of LCD mask 3D printers with similar performance. The device is designed to work with photopolymer resins optimized for 405 nm UV light exposure. Anycubic Photon Workshop software includes anti-aliasing function, up to sixteenfold smoothing.
